I scored myself a pair of original Wahrenbrock PZM Microphones. I built a “Wedge” for them over the weekend. You can learn more about that Via – This.
I can’t wait to use them as drum kit/tracking room mics.
10min to 12am. Just cut up a clip from a session I had with Mr. Justin 3am, myself drum noodling & his eurorack awhile back.
Well RELAB DEVELOPMENT has changed the view of ITB verb with some great creations like X-verb & now the LX 480.
Is A or B the hardware? You decide. (Answer @ bottom of the post)
There’s few instruments that I covet more then the Rhodes. Todays noize happens to be some noodle loops created from a current work in progress. Some clips are an odd 3 over 4 rhythm that repeats over 6 bars, others are a melancholy bliss.
So I’ve had this idea floating around this head of mine for some time. As an act of self discipline, wanting to archive my creative progressions, & being inspired by “365 photo projects” I going to be releasing a audio loop/noize clip from whatever the days adventure in audio might be. Could be a drum loop, synth line, bass riff, Rhodes noodle, or the result of a pizza & bourbon overdose. Time will tell.
I’ve been using triggers for practice while away from the kit & for electric needs for some time. I built a few DIY triggers sometime ago that have worked out well.
