Apparently the x0xb0x responds differently when locked to midi clock.
I have upload new labeled files of both using internal clock & reset the poll.
I personally find the x0xb0x more pleasing. But the slide response is completely different.
I agree x’ does sound “more pleasing” …but also that it sounds already processed. A moderate amount of RMS compression will make A’ sound like x’. I think they sweetened the analog output section of that hardware a bit, MKS-80 style.
