Got together with the @androidlust crew for a “Live in Studio” performance. I love being able to experiment with non-standard setups. Used a minimal setup based around kick/snare/hat with a T-Shirt dampened floor tom and ching-ring. “No drum samples harmed in this recording!” Full video & Track is available via YouTube & Bandcamp. Sunday Synthesis

Some Sunday Synthesis. Hooked up some box’s. Glitched out a drum loop recorded last week. Noodled on the Rhodes, & the A4 is supplying an elec kick, 303ish bassline, a clap, and CV for the Arp noise/snare. Fun times.

Remo head & Re-orientated kit experiment.

Another setup experiment in my world of recording while hitting things. Trying out the Remo Powerstroke 3 clear on kick batter, with a Black suede on reso (No hole). Re-orientated the kit with the Racks & Floors to my hard left and right. Made room for optimum hat/cymbal ergonomics. Have some new cymbal additions under the mic – 15″ K Sweet Hats, and some K custom special dry’s scattered about.
