I’ve been meaning to set up various ambient mics around this facility for some time now (19 years or so). I have some drum tracking lined up to record and finally got around to giving this a go beforehand. I set up a basic Kick/Snare/Hat kit and six different mic locations. Some more successful than others. The video cuts between the mic setups to showcase the results.
