A different take\/sequence showcasing more of the natural ambiance of the space. In addition to giving my weaker traditional grip a workout. 2600m+Drums+ConstructionSpaceVerb\u2122 So after an exhausting day, I knew I only had one last chance to capture the sound of this open studio construction space before too much of the drywall went up. As it was, the dividing wall between the two stages had already been erected. So grabbed the 2600m, minimal drum setup, mic’s, & threw together a recording setup. I’ve never loved the Dante protocol more. The 2600m+sequencer is in the left space in the future Stage B, and the drums and myself in what will be Stage A. Drum wise I’m using my 18×24″ #qdrumco<\/a> copper shell kick, and my #@keplingerdrums 6.5×13″ snare. Also pulled out the Kep stainless steel ride\/crash (which seemed fitting), and my Lil ole 12″ @zildjiancompany Re-Mix Hats (I still love those things). For mics I had some fun. I put a pair of u87s in the far spare with the 2600m, I had my pair of @heisermanaudio h47’s behind me\/the kit, a shure Beta 91a in the kick, a modified 57 on snare, KM87 “crotch mic” and an MKH8060 on hat. After hitting GO on the@madeinpolyend SEQ improv noodling\/chaos theory ran its course. : : : : : :<\/p>\n\n\n\n
