I just received this Noble & Cooley snare ordered many months ago. Being that they are made in Mass from a local New England tree (Tulip FWIW) I was drawn to that connection from home. I’ve admired these snares from afar for many years, and it was time to put in an order with my usual 13×6 preference. Matte ebony grain finish with brass hardware.
Captured my 1st time playing this beautiful instrument. Spent some time figuring out how it likes to sing.
I’ve now spent the majority of this life on the west coast. With all its perks I’ve never quite clicked with this city. Drumming is often my mental escape from the world, and I find something very grounding about this drum.
